Nyotaimori: the art of eating on the body

The Nyotaimori is the art of eating on the body of a woman.

In the same logic, the Nantaimori consists in presenting food on the body of a man.

Goat cheese, pear, honey and praline makis

Steps

1. THE WATCH …

In a salad bowl, mash the goats, cottage cheese (or mascarpone) and cardamom with a fork. Add salt and pepper.

Peel the pear, seed it and cut it into thin strips.

On a bench to roll the maki (or a clean tea towel folded in four), spread the stretch film. Spread a layer of the previous preparation on top, making a rectangle of about 15 x 20 cm. Pour in a little honey. Then place the pear slices on the whole.

Finally use the bench (or the tea towel) to fold the cheese, roll the preparation like a snail and pack well. You should be able to make at least 3 sausages in this way. Wrap them tightly in the stretch film.

Place them in the refrigerator overnight. 

2. THE SAME DAY…

Prepare the praline. Dry roast the hazelnuts in a pan. When they have a nice golden color, sprinkle with sugar that you will let caramelize over high heat. When it is golden brown, pour the mixture onto previously oiled aluminum foil.

Let cool then mix it roughly. Take the sausages out of the refrigerator. Remove the stretch film. On a board, roll the sausages in the praline.

Cut into slices and serve immediately with a salad of chervil seasoned with hazelnut oil.
