What Should A Meal Soup Contain?

When it is cold, we have only one desire, to consume foods that will give us a feeling of warmth and comfort. The soup is undoubtedly the favorite food of our Quebec winters!

Add silken tofu or white beans before going into a blender

Garnish with grated tofu previously marinated in pesto (it’s super good too!)

Garnish with nuts or your favorite cheese

Garnish with a hard-boiled egg

3- Canned and sodium

Obviously, the canned soup aisle at the grocery store is popular and large. The observation is clear: the vast majority of these soups have two major flaws, a very low amount of protein and a very high amount of sodium. Take a good look at the Nutrition Facts table. 

At least 8 g of protein and less than 450 mg of sodium per serving.

4- Fondue meats
